Brass Band at Crawfish Boil a Success
Kingpin Brass Band News - 6/27/2008
Hey Kingpin Brass Band fans, a few things have happened since the last time you visited us. First, we would like to thank the hosts of Bubba's annual Crawfish Boil for inviting us back for the 3rd straight year. We always have a great time, and your hospitality before, during, and after the performance always above and beyond. You can catch some snap-shots of the show in the 2008 Crawfish Boil Kingpin Brass Band Photo Gallery.
Second. We are frantically setting up some fall performances and will release information on those when they are finalized, so keep checking back.
Last, but certainly not least. We set the Mardi Gras mood at the main entrance to the Sunday afternoon Mallards home game last weekend. If you missed us, check the events schedule for the next Mallards game-day performance. Tickets are pretty cheap, and after our performance go on and cheer for your local North Woods League team.
Next Sunday at Warner Park is the last time you can see us in a public performance until July 20th when we will reprise our roles at the main gate to the Duck Pond. So come check us out for some traditional, and not so traditional, New Orleans music.
